Synopsis
Bored of watching people win investment on shows like Dragons' Den? Channel 4 agreed. That's why they commissioned a program where candidates could win a different sort of investment - in their appearance. We kid you not, Channel 4 genuinely commissioned a programme where a jury of twelve members of the public would have decided whether or not people got to receive a cosmetic surgery of their choice.
Trivia
Channel 4 stood by the programme despite critical condemnation. The programme was put on hold after the arrest of the host Caroline Flack; her death was a bridge too far, and the programme will not be broadcast.
The head judge was Edward Oldfield, a serial game show contestant who sometimes appears as Ted.
