Synopsis
A kind of The Apprentice-meets-Safari School-meets-the-ubiquitous-Nick Knowles as nine hopefuls compete for a job with the BBC's Natural History Unit. While being filmed by the BBC's Natural History Unit. We've seen something like this before... or at least, we would have seen something like this before, if we could get Animal Planet. But considering the technology the NHU has at its disposal, it should at least look stunning. (If you can handle the idea of Nick Knowles' stubble in high definition, that is.)

Trivia
Up until a fortnight before transmission (i.e. pretty much the deadline for the listings mags), it was being promoted as To The Ends of the Earth - as in, "I'd go to the ends of the earth for a job like this". Presumably it occurred to someone, at the last minute, that the Kalahari isn't exactly "the ends of the earth" in any commonly-accepted sense.
