Biography
Born in 1978, Alex Horne studied at Cambridge University where he was a member of the famous Footlights troupe.
As well as co-hosting, he devised the format and most of the tasks for Taskmaster, which was based on a live feature he ran at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Trivia
He appeared as a contestant on Countdown in 2008, winning three games. He actually qualified for the series finals but couldn't take part due to other commitments.
He has a jazz band called The Horne Section who have had their own BBC Radio 4 comedy series with Alex.
He's a dab hand at table football.
