Synopsis

A map of the entire Central transmission region is divided into irregular polygons, each named after the city or town they contain. Two teams of local dignitaries, celebrities, and/or quizzers from one of the named areas.

For some series, the teams were put in an area precisely four steps from each of their nominal bases; winning a round entitled them to move one step towards their native area, and the first team to arrive back had completed a home run. In other series, the map was used as a scoreboard, the most areas filled would win.

Undemanding filler for those summer Sundays when Bullseye wasn't on.
