Not a Cross Word
(Digging further, looks like this was only shown in Scotland, with Songs of Praise airing in the rest of the UK at the same time. Indeed, Cliff Hanley was Glaswegian) |

Synopsis
A short-lived panel game in which the team captains were each joined by two clergymen, preachers or church workers. The games included answering questions on hymns and religious quotations, incorporating objects into a children's sermon, completing limericks on a religious theme, and healing the sick and lame by the power of prayer. Except that last one. They did apparently have a bit of a chinwag about theological issues at one point, however.
