London-born presenter who developed a niche for presenting the Saturday Lottery quiz show slot, a latter-day Eamonn Holmes if you will.
Outside of quiz, he is best known for the home makeover show DIY SOS.
Trivia
He was the one-time partner of Suzi Perry.
In a 1996 documentary for Carlton, he was turned in a fake pop star called Carrick Fear, to see how gullible fans, press and the music industry were.
