Synopsis

Fifteen men and women spend ten days in purpose-built pods where they can talk to each other through a speaker but not see each other. They can later choose to have longer dates and may extend a marriage proposal when one dater is ready.

Trivia

The original US version debuted in February 2020 and became a worldwide hit for Netflix, with other countries quickly following suit. Brazil released the first of their four series in October 2021, while Japan aired a series in February 2022 (and even greenlit a second before cancelling it that October). Sweden released a version in January 2024, the franchise's first to use a single host. By July 2024, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates had commissioned versions.
