Synopsis
"Pubs all over Britain compete in a new knock-out competition which combines darts and general knowledge" say the Radio Times. Not only that, but it was actually broadcast live from a different pub each week.
A dartboard was divided into twelve areas, each marked with a subject, and play progressed around the board. In each of the twelve rounds, a team's designated darts player had to place darts in the correct sector, scoring 5, 10 or 15 for each of three darts, with their team-mates then answering a question to claim the points.
Champions
The Elm Park, Hornchurch, who beat The Bowling Green, Lincoln in the final. Neither pub exists anymore, closing within a few weeks of each other in 2014.
