Biography
A former member of Central Television's Junior Workshop who first appeared in children's comedy series Your Mother Wouldn't Like It between 1985 and 1988. It won a BAFTA award and spawned its own spin-off, Palace Hill.
By 1993, Steven had become the sole voice-over announcer for Children's ITV. He stayed in the role for five years before a promotion to producer came his way. It was at this time that Steven relaunched the service and reintroduced in-vision continuity.
After a couple of years, he switched to the BBC and led Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow to cult status and a couple of BAFTA awards. Since then, he's been busy at work producing a raft of comedies and game shows for CBBC.
Trivia
One of Steven's colleagues on Your Mother Wouldn't Like It happened to be a Mr. Ian Kirkby who later went to appear in Da Bungalow.
Whilst in his CITV announcer role, Steven also appeared as Tatty Bogle in Wizadora.
