Synopsis
Ten talented young interior designers are set challenges to test their skill and ability. Can they meet the design brief, stay within budget, and put their personal stamp on their creations?
Series judge Michelle Ogundehin is joined by one or more guest judges each week, either experts in the relevant skill or a representative of the client. In traditional style, one elimination each week reduces numbers for the grand final.

Trivia
Worldwide rights were bought by Netflix, and Interior Design Masters was made available globally shortly after the BBC series ended.
Gained a new base in Brighton for the second series, which made sense for a while given that most of the challenges in that run were in the South East. The show still makes a big deal of being based in Brighton, but it feels increasingly like an odd choice when subsequent series have regularly sent contestants all over the country, including to Scotland and the Lake District, from their inconveniently non-central location.
