Johnny Beattie
Biography
Comedian and actor, born in Glasgow on 2 November 1927. Originally making a name for himself in the late days of music hall, he later branched out into acting, and played Malcolm Hamilton in the BBC Scotland soap, River City.
He died on 9 July 2020 at the age of 93.
Trivia
He was honorary president of the Scottish Music Hall Association.
