Synopsis
Combining ITV's twin obsessions of cookery and soap opera, Soapstar Superchef invited such leading food-makers as Keith Floyd, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Antony Worrall Thompson to teach soap actors how to cook. The pre-publicity said that the show would be transmitted live in front of an audience.
