Synopsis
Six celebrity couples go through a series of mental, physical and emotional challenges designed to reveal whose relationship is the strongest.
Rob Beckett told the press,
- "Celebrities are tested on how well they know their partner like they are on All Star Mr & Mrs, combined with the physical challenges of I'm a Celebrity…. Then there's the Big Brother element of their partners being people we haven’t really met before.
Each challenge sees points awarded by the judges - relationship psychotherapist Anjula Mutanda and agony aunt Maria McErlane - based both on actual performance and how well the pair worked together. Lowest score each week leaves.

Trivia
Originally airing at 8pm on Thursdays, ratings were diabolical; the first episode was beaten by that day's Bargain Hunt. The resignation of Liz Truss provided an excuse to swap it with that day's Question Time, which meant it aired at 11.05pm.
