- Partners in Rhyme - a family game show where the answers are rhymes. Len Goodman hosts (Panda Television / AOP for BBC1)
- Culinary Genius - daytime show with cooks competing across the week. The debut series from Gordon Ramsay's new production company, and he will also be one of a rotating group of judges. (Studio Ramsay for ITV1)
- Letterbox - pairs of contestants try to crack passwords, each gains an advantage in the final. (Hindsight Productions for BBC2)
- Babushka - pairs use "knowledge, skill, and a bit of luck" to win cash prizes. Russian nested dolls are involved. (Armoza format, STV for ITV)
- Name Your Price - an antiques valuation show, hosted by David Dickinson. (ITV Studios for ITV)
- Big Head (working title) - contestants are in giant heads of famous people. Hosted by Jason Manford. (Primal Media for ITV)
- The Boss - one contestant becomes The Boss and then uses judgement and tactics to decide which other player is best suited to answer a general knowledge or brainteaser question. If The Boss isn't good enough, they won't stay in power. Susan Calman hosts. (BBC Studios for BBC1 daytime, 2017)
