Definition:
Programmes made by Ulster Television.

Ulster Television began broadcasting on 31 October 1959 as the ITV station for Northern Ireland. Most of its programmes aired only locally.

After surviving all the ITV franchise rounds, Ulster Television abbreviated its name to UTV on 4 June 1993, before it developed a media empire in the 2000s, with acquisitions including Talksport and other radio stations in Britain and Ireland. On 19 October 2015, UTV agreed to sell its television business and brand to ITV plc (its radio business was acquired by News Corp the following year). Since 2020, the UTV brand has only been used for local programming.
