We've Got Your Number

West London comedian and actor who started out in cabaret at the age of 16 after attending the Barbara Speake Stage School. He become a TV warm-up man before getting his big break with a regular slot on the ITV variety show Live From The Palladium, which led to him getting his own show, This Way Up, followed by The Brian Conley Show. He has also turned his hand to acting, and following several sitcoms of variable quality (most memorably ITV's excellent 70's-set comedy 'The Grimleys', in which Conley played the sadistic games teacher, Doug Digby - a role that been played by Jack Dee in the pilot edition), he became a regular on the West End stage with starring roles in Me and My Girl, Jolson and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

He provided all the voices for the cartoon series Busy Buses.

He made a guest appearance in what turned out to be the final series of the BBC's long-running comedy "Last Of The Summer Wine".
