Synopsis
Dating show set in a posh restaurant. The chooser has a three-course meal and meets a potential date over each course. At the end they pick their favourite and the two of them are driven off in a white Cadillac.
Trivia
The title translates as Love Lunch, curiously.
For the first series, the programme was recorded entirely at Hotel Portmeirion, which is famous of course for cult series, The Prisoner.
The first series was broadcast in a late night 45-minute slot at 10:45pm on Sundays. By the second series however, it was extended by 15 minutes and promoted to an earlier timeslot on Friday nights. In a very rare move, the show was split into 2 parts. The first half-hour went out at 8:25pm and the second half broadcast around 9:30pm-10:00pm.
