Synopsis
Three teams of cooks are put in a "street food" kitchen, and sell their dish in two servings. After deducting the cost of the ingredients, a profit is calculated. Heats last for two days, with a second dish on sale in the second day. The winners of the heats come back for the Friday final, where three dishes are sold. Greatest profit on this final wins the week, and the prize of a stall at one of Dominic Cools-Lartigue's own "street food" events.
Dominic Cools-Lartigue hosts the show, and he's also the entrepreneur behind a leading "street food" space in London. Rather than trust his own taste and judgement, he prefers to let the flow of money do the talking: people will quite literally put their money where their mouth is. The crowd of gourmands is representative of Cools-Lartigue's events.
