Sue Robbie
Biography
Actress who worked as a Granada Television continuity announcer between the late 1970s and early 1980s before moving on to present a number of national children's TV shows. On a national scale, Sue frequently worked with fellow Granada announcer Charles Foster. They were both narrators of Granada's highly-acclaimed schools programmes for the network and whilst Sue was the original host of Connections, Charles was the announcer. Sue is still working today, but has long given up television.
Trivia
As in the case of Charles Foster and all other Granada announcers at the time, Sue was also a presenter of Granada Reports, reading regional news bulletins throughout the day.
Sue was also heard as an narrator for the current affairs series, World In Action.
