Saturday 23rd brings us The Hit List, The Weakest Link and Blankety Blank (all BBC1).
Christmas Eve has Christmas Bake Off (C4), some new creations on The Big Bake (ITVBe), and The Radio Wales Christmas Quiz (Radio Wales).
Christmas Day has the annual Strictly Come Dancing and The Wheel specials (BBC1). The Masked Singer heads ITV, with Stephen Mulhern's In for a Penny and The 1% Club flanking. Channel 4 offers The Piano and The Great Pottery Throw Down.
Boxing St Stephen's Day has The Big Fat Quiz of the Year (C4), and Tipping Point (ITV). On Wednesday, World's Strongest Man moves into its finals (C5).
Thursday has The Big Quiz (2) with ITV's big soaps and Stephen Mulhern; and Masterchef The Critics Challenge, where the opinionated hacks put their mouths where their words are. On Friday, Christmas University Challenge finds the winner (BBC2), and Would I Lie to You? begins a new series proper (BBC1).

- The 1% Club (ITV, 10.05) You're not getting smarter, this is a repeat from 2022.
Sunday 24 December - Christmas Eve
- Runaround Christmas Special (Talking Pictures, 7.15am) Repeat from 1979, with Barbara Dickson the guest.
- Just a Minute (Radio 4 Extra, from 10.15am; repeated 4.15 and 10.15) Two classic episodes, one trip to India, and a Perkins-Merton chat. Airing as part of Nicholas Parsons Day on Radio 4 Extra, which also includes some of his other works.
- The Big Bake (ITVB, 12.10) Three new episodes of the hugemungous cake show.
- The Radio Wales Christmas Quiz (Radio Wales, 3pm) The Beast is in the chair. Hope they've got planning permission for that chair.

- Christmas Bake Off (C4, 8.15) With Sophie from series 8, Dan from 9, Amelia from 10, Linda from 11, George from 12, and Carole from this year. Repeated 1.55 tomorrow.
- Britain Get Singing (ITV, 9pm) Groups from great ITV shows sing. Featuring folk from Good Morning Viewers, Love Island, Coronation Street, The Masked Singer, and (er) Eastenders. The panel is will.i.am, Adam Lambert, Alesha Dixon, and Jonathan Ross, and the host is Roman Kemp. Best seen after a very large number of brandies, we fear.
- 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown at Christmas (C4, 11.30) Repeat from last week.
Monday 25 December - Christmas Day
- Bargain Hunt (BBC2, 7.15am) A Christmas episode, repeated from last week.
- Elephant in the Room (Radio 4 Extra, 9am, 2pm, 7pm) Surveys to find who's closest to the average person, repeated from 2019.
- Counterpoint (Radio 4, 1.15) Heat 3 of the current series has a festive flavour. Repeated next Saturday night.
- In for a Penny with Stephen Mulhern (ITV, 3.45) Stephen Mulhern travels the length and breath of the island, giving away money, playing silly games, and dodging stollen used as a missile. Repeated ITV2 at 9am tomorrow; also VM1 at 3pm New Year's Day.
- Strictly Come Dancing (BBC1, 4.40) Tess and Claudia host the festive edition, with Dan Snow, Sally Nugent, Jamie Borthwick, Tillie Amartey, Danny Cipriani, and Keisha Buchanan. Signed repeat on BBC2 early tomorrow morning.
