Synopsis
About as simple as quiz concepts come: panelists were asked to identify people and events from old pictures, starting with a small detail and zooming out. Some of the people pictured would also turn up in the studio. Originally the show mostly used the Picture Post archive, with newsreel footage added for variety, but it appears the focus shifted toward the latter in the second series since Radio Times took to describing it as "the newsreel game".
Inventor
Kenneth Adam himself.
