O is for... Out of vision - (For short: OOV) Any situation when the source of the audio track is different to that of the broadcast pictures. In game shows, the host or question master is said to be out of vision when we hear them asking the questions but do not see them on camera - notable examples are Robin Houston on 100% and Nicholas Rowe on Grand Slam.
