TV Guide 2024-02-24
The entertainment big guns come out this Saturday. In the Five Star corner, Michael McIntyre with The Wheel (BBC1). In the double-decker bus corner, Ant and Dec with Saturday Night Takeaway (ITV). Wheel of Fortune has a celebrity edition (ITV), and Runaround has crept back onto Talking Pictures.
More good stuff on BBC Scotland, as Scotland's Greatest Escape (Wed) and Eat the Town (Thu) are back, as is Ireland's House of the Year on RTÉ1. Out of Order (2) has Rosie Jones putting people in the right line-up (Comedy Central, Mon).
Elsewhere, Landscape Artist of the Year is named (Artsworld, Wed). The longest-running song competition on the islands, Can i Gymru, marks its 50th consecutive year (S4C, Fri), and we hear the BBC's Eurosong (Fri). Rob Beckett's Smart TV is new on KYTV, at the oh-so-accessible time of 2am on Thursday.
