In 1997 it merged with documentary makers Barraclough Carey Productions, forming Mentorn Barraclough Carey, and in 2000 it was acquired by The Television Corporation. In 2006 it was purchased by Tinopolis with the Barraclough Carey merger name being dropped to just simply Mentorn.
