- Dirty Cows - The Bachelor-type dating/reality show in which city girls compete for the attentions of a rich young farmer. Tara Palmer-Tomkinson hosts. (Living TV, autumn)
- Number One Soap Fan - quiz to find the nation's num... yes, you're ahead of us here. Bradley Walsh hosts.
- Saturday Night Showdown - Vernon Kay and Bruce Forsyth host what looks to be an old-style Gen Game-type Saturday night game show. Hopefully they'll come up with a better title, though. (BBC1)
- DanceX - search for dancers to form a new troupe. (BBC1)
- Eating With The Enemy - knockout contest for amateur chefs. James Martin is to be a "mentor". (RDF West for BBC)
- Making a Meal of It - couples are challenged to take the reins of a busy restaurant. (BBC Birmingham for BBC1 Daytime)
- Food Poker - Chefs make a dish, but first they have to win ingredients in a card game. Yes, really. (Optomen for BBC2 Daytime)
- First and Last, a show where people compete to be as average as possible, ironically to be hosted by Justin Lee Collins (Endemol for Channel 4).
- An as-yet untitled talent search for the UK's best Elvis impersonator, to be hosted by Vernon Kay. (BBC One, summer)
- Nothing But The Truth - Hour-long quiz from an unmade US format. Sky have commissioned eight episodes for a primetime run, probably in the autumn. (Ruggie Media for Sky One)
- Are You Smarter Than A 10-Year-Old? - self-explanatory, wethinks. (Sky One)
- Beat the Host - a German format apparently being "prepped" (as they say) for the British market, in which contestants take on the host (yet to be named) in a series of games. (Diverse, channel TBA)
- The Sorceror's Apprentice - young magicians compete to impress. (Twenty Twenty for CBBC Channel)
- Battle of the Exes - one-off relationship game show with Alex Zane and Jenny Frost. (E4)
- Click City sends kids on a treasure hunt with mobile phones. (Lion TV, channel unknown)
- Space Pirates: virtual reality adventure game for children. (Lion TV, channel unknown)
- Best in Preschool: Lorraine Kelly and Dominic Wood test pre-schoolers on stuff. (ITV1, later this year)
- Extreme: thecustard.tv says: "game show featuring men aged 45 to 60 competing in dangerous challenges". (ITV1)
- The Swot Team: quiz in which contestants take on child prodigies. (BBC One)
- Celebrity Bowls: Celebrity bowls. With Gail Porter. Apparently. (Channel 4)

- Tough Decisions, a comedy quiz with Patrick McGuinness (Objective for E4)
- Dawns-Tastig (Dancetastic), S4C prepares to jump onto the dance-based reality bandwagon with this contest for 11-14 years old. Winners get performance with dance group in a Pineapple Studios production in London (Apollo for S4C)
