Revision as of 10:19, 10 January 2010
Can you believe that January has crept up on us once again? Well we can. Nobody can know what he future may bring, but it is in looking to the past we can make a better future, and with that in mind it's time for the annual UKGameshows.com Poll of the Year 2009, in association with the all new fairly stylish Bother's Bar! Golly. As ever, we want you to cut through the hyperbole and tell us what you really spent the year watching. What was your favourite new format from 2009? Which new formats did you particularly hate? And what did you like watching the most in 2009? The world is watching, so make your voice heard.

- You have up to five votes. Each vote is treated equally. You do not have to use all your votes if you don’t want to.
- However, you can weigh the vote if you feel particularly strongly about a show – you may use up to three votes on a single show.
HALL OF SHAME
- We want you to tell us your LEAST favourite new shows from 2009. A list of eligible formats can be found at the bottom. You may vote for remakes.
- You have up to five votes. Each vote is treated equally. You do not have to use all your votes if you don’t want to.
- However, you can weigh the vote if you feel particularly strongly about a show – you may use up to three votes on a single show.
THE GOLDEN FIVER
- We want you to tell us your favourite shows of 2009 – any show that had at least one new episode broadcast in the UK are eligible.
- You have up to five votes. Each vote is treated equally. You do not have to use all your votes if you don’t want to.
- However, you can weigh the vote if you feel particularly strongly about a show – you may use up to three votes on a single show.
Well that's all very well, but how do I vote?
There are several methods:
- The simplest way is to use a form. There's one just itching to be used on Bother's Bar.
- Alternatively you can use e-mail. Please mail poll2009@ukgameshows.com with your selections - to make the adding up easier, please put each separate vote on a separate line. We encourage you to give reasons which may get used in the final report, but you're not obliged to!
And that's it! Please get your votes in by midnight January 17th, and look out for the results shortly after.
