Created in 1968, Thames was the ITV broadcaster in London until 1992. Thames was bought by Pearson International (now FremantleMedia) in 1996, and lost its identity following a merger into Talkback in 2003. Shows made by this TalkbackThames company are listed in Category:Talkback Productions. The "Thames" credit was revived in 2012 for Fremantle's non-comedy entertainment programmes.
